Ken is a New Jersey based photographer specializing in portraits, events and commercial work.
He was born and raised in Brooklyn, schooled in graphic arts, communications and the street. Photography became a passion and he turned professional 20 years ago, freelancing and serving a variety of clients.
Ken later became the staff photographer for McGraw-Hill Companies and photographed a wide variety of assignments. He received McGraw-Hill's President's Excellence Award and was honored by the NY Book Show for photography.
Ken Cavanagh Photography Inc. is now independent, fully digital and available to shoot on location and in the studio. Ken thrives on creative collaboration, planned luck and the beauty of light and life. Recent clients have included: McGraw-Hill, Millmark Education, Robert-Leslie Publishing, Tishman Speyer and Women In Need.org.
